DAY CARE CENTRES AND RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL FOR MENTALLY CHALLENGED CHILDREN


The organization is running special education schools to the mentally challenged children through the efforts of well trained staff, who are well qualified in special education.

The program is aimed at providing behavior modification of the mentally handicapped through the services of physiotherapy, speech therapy, music therapy, yoga therapy and special education techniques by a team of inter disciplinary teachers.

The main purpose is to infuse confidence in them, to make them feel that, they are quite efficient and can attend to their daily needs with more confidence than ever as the ordinary children of their age group and move in the society with confidence facing challenges. The Special Education is being imparted with:

  • Toys, Teaching & Learning material.
  • Play material and Speech Therapy.
  • Physiotherapy and Vocational Training
  • Extracurricular activities such as dance, sports and games, skits and yoga.

To better manage the functioning of Special Schools, each school is equipped with a Project Monitoring Committee constituted with respective special school superintendent, a special educator and representatives from Local universities.

  • Residential School at Sahayagram, Karakambadi in Andhra Pradesh.
