Rashtriya Seva Samithi (RASS)

FOUR DECADES in the service of Humanity

Strategies

RASS believes that development can be self-sustaining only if it brings positive change in the entire socio-economic matrix governing the lives of the beneficiary communities. The development of poor without refining their socio-economic milieu is neither conceivable nor sustainable. Henceforth, the “development paradigm” of RASS revolves around four critical elements, namely,

      • Human Resource Development
      • Attitudinal Changes
      • Economic Development
      • Self-Management

The strategies for the effective interventions of RASS

      • Participatory and bottom-up approach in planning and implementation
      • Promoting qualitative human resources
      • Holistic and multi-disciplinary approach in programme implementation
      • Capacity building for its stakeholders
      • Community infrastructure and asset creation
      • Building strong linkages with the Government & other development institutions
      • Creating social capital
