Rass College of Special Education

To cater to the need for Special Education in the Country, RASS has taken initiative in establishing a college for imparting special education with courses recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India ( RCI).

Initially, in 1993, the institute commenced a training course of a one-year duration to provide a Diploma in Special Education (Intellectual Disability). Later the duration of the course is extended to 2 years to improve and enhance the curriculum, and the course for B.Ed. (Special Education) is also started in affiliation with Dr.BR.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad, Telangana.

RASS-College of Special Education has received the “Excellence Performance Award” from the Rehabilitation Council of India.

The annual enrolment is around 30 students per batch for Diploma courses and for B.Ed SE (ID) 50 and so far over 714 students undergoing training in various courses
